Yes, we are your main reference in the Arab region to get your certified training on SROI. Our training programs are certified by Social Value International (the main organization that provides accreditation on Social Return on Investment), and delivered by the first and only Accredited Practitioner in the Arab region, Khulood Hindiyeh. These interactive training programs aim at equipping attendees with an understanding of the key conceptual issues of social impact measurement and examines each of the practical requirements to successfully complete an impact assessment. Learners are supported through the use of case examples and the application of the ideas to their own case study.

The course is accredited by Social Value International (SVI) and all attendees who complete the course receive certification to recognize their involvement. This is an essential requirement for those individuals that subsequently wish to become an Accredited Practitioner.

Measuring Social Impact is an interactive framework that helps take better decisions to manage existing projects and forecast impacts of future projects. It includes creating a special value map for your project / organization; telling the story of how change is created by measuring social, environmental and economic outcomes and uses monetary values to represent them. This enables a ration of benefits to costs to be calculated. For example, a ration of 3:1 indicates that an investment of 1 USD delivers 3 USD of social value.   

Such analysis has many benefits, including: Better strategic planning, effective communications with the community, better distribution of resources and investments, attract investors, increase social equality and reduce environmental degradation.

You can check a comprehensive SROI report that was prepared by Khulood and published on SVI website HERE. The report measures the social impact of a volunteering project implemented by a local NGO (Tkiyet Um Ali), aiming to renovate poor families' houses in Jordan.

Arising from the noticeable global and regional movement towards social impact investments, and the increasing awareness of companies, investors and the local community in the importance of non-financial accounting and value measurement, a group of practitioners are working to establish a Social Value Network for the Arab Region. It comes to provide appropriate guidance, tools and support for professionals involved in social and economic development and managing social value across sectors in the Arab Region.
